Belmaya’s film Educate Our Daughters has been selected for yet another international festival – the UK Asian Film Festival, 27 March – 7 April 2019. Her film will be shown as part of the short film competition, at 2pm on 30 March, at the Regent Street Cinema.
This is the longest running Asian film festival in Europe, organised by Tongues on Fire, which provides a platform for independent film and arts with a link to South Asia.
We very much hope Belmaya will be able to attend the festival, subject of course to her being granted a visitor visa. Please come along and support her!
